أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي بَعْضِ صَلَاتِهِ «اللَّهُمَّ حَاسِبْنِي حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا» فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا الْحِسَابُ الْيَسِيرُ؟ قَالَ «يُنْظُرُ فِي كِتَابِهِ وَيُتَجَاوَزُ لَهُ عَنْهُ إِنَّهُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَا عَائِشَةُ هَلَكَ فَكُلُّ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ يُكَفِّرُ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةَ تَشُوكُهُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say in one of his prayers: “O Allah, bring me to account with an easy reckoning.” When he finished, I said: “O Messenger of Allah, what is the easy reckoning?” He said: “One looks into his record and is pardoned. Indeed, whoever is questioned closely about the account on that day, O ‘A’ishah, will be destroyed. And whatever befalls a believer, Allah expiates for him, even a thorn that pricks him.”
