✧ A group of Qur'an reciters entered upon Abu Dharr while a black woman was with him wearing a Qatawani cloak, with no embroidered garments or perfume. Abu Dharr said: “Do you know what this one says? She tells me to go to Iraq. If I went to Iraq, they would say: 'This is a companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ,' and they would incline toward us with worldly things. Indeed, my close friend Abu al-Qasim ﷺ entrusted to me that the bridge of Hell is slippery and causes feet to slip, and in our burdens there is corruption; perhaps we may be saved from them.”
