حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ بِمَكَّةَ حَرَسَهَا اللَّهُ تَعَالَى ثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ التَّنُوخِيُّ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي سَوْدَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ عَلَى سُورِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ الشَّرْقِيِّ يَبْكِي فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ مَا يُبْكِيكَ يَا أَبَا الْوَلِيدِ؟ فَقَالَ «مَنْ هَاهُنَا

✧ 'Ubadah b. al-Samit was on the eastern wall of Jerusalem, weeping. Some of them said: "What makes you weep, O Abu al-Walid?" He said: "From here..."
