أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْإِمَامُ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَزِيزٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ أَنَّ سَلَامَةَ حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ عَقِيلٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَسَعِيدَ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَا قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

«وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ قَدْرَ مَا بَيْنَ شَفِيرِ النَّارِ وَقَعْرِهَا إِلَى أَنْ يَقَعَ قَعْرَهَا سَبْعُونَ خَرِيفًا»

✧ “By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the distance between the edge of the Fire and its bottom until it reaches its bottom is seventy autumns.”
