✧ He said to Abu Mas'ud: "I had two companions who were my refuge—Hudhayfah and Abu Musa. I adjure you by Allah, if you heard anything from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the tribulations, tell me; otherwise, exercise your best judgment for me." He said: Abu Mas'ud praised Allah and extolled Him, then said, "Cling to the great majority of the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ, for Allah will never gather the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ upon misguidance ever. And be patient until the righteous one finds rest and relief is obtained from the wicked one."
