✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Islam will wear out as the embroidery of a garment wears out, until it is not known what fasting is, nor charity, nor sacrifice. And the Book of Allah ﷻ will be taken up in a night, and not a verse of it will remain on earth. And there will remain groups of people: an old man and an old woman, saying, ‘We found our fathers upon this word, “There is no god but Allah,” so we say it.’” Then Silah said, “And what will ‘There is no god but Allah’ avail them when they do not know what fasting, charity, or sacrifice is?” Hudhayfah turned away from him, and he repeated it to him three times, and each time he turned away from him. Then he turned to him on the third time and said: “O Silah, it will save them from the Fire; it will save them from the Fire; it will save them from the Fire.”
