✧ I entered the mosque with ʿAbd Allah. The people were bowing, so he bowed. A man passed by and greeted him. ʿAbd Allah said, “Allah and His Messenger have spoken the truth.” Then he joined the row. When he finished, I asked him about his saying, “Allah and His Messenger have spoken the truth.” He said, “He used to say: ‘The Hour will not come until mosques are taken as thoroughfares, until a man greets another man only out of acquaintance, until a woman and her husband engage in trade together, and until horses and women become expensive, then become cheap, and they will not become expensive again until the Day of Resurrection.’”
