✧ I set out with a group of my companions until we arrived in Makkah. He said: We looked for Abdullah b. Amr but did not find him. Then, near three hundred riding camels, we turned him back in the mosque. There was an old man wearing two Qatari cloaks and a turban, with no shirt. He said: "Who are you?" We said: "From the people of Iraq." He said: "You, O people of Iraq, lie and accuse others of lying and mock." We said: "We do not lie, nor accuse others of lying, nor mock." He said: "How far is it between you and al-Ayla?" We said: "Four parasangs." He said: "It is near that the Banu Qantura' b. Karkar will drive you from Khurasan and Sijistan with a violent driving. Then they will come out until they tie their horses at the Tigris River. A people with small eyes, flat noses, as if their faces were layered shields."
