✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and you have narrated the books. He said: 'From what people are you?' We said: 'From the people of Iraq.' He said: 'You, O people of Iraq, lie, and you call others liars, and you mock.' I said: 'No, by Allah, we do not call you a liar, nor do we lie about you, nor do we mock you.' He said: 'The Banu Qantura' and Kurki will not come out until they tie their horses to the palm trees of al-Aylah. How far is it from there to al-Basrah?' We said: 'Four farsakhs.' He said: 'They will send word: Make way between us and it.' He said: 'A third will join them, a third will go to al-Kufah, and a third will join the Bedouins. Then they will send word to the people of al-Kufah: Make way between us and it. A third will join them, a third will join the Bedouins, and a third will go to al-Sham.' We said: 'What is the sign of that?' He said: 'When the land is filled with the rule of boys.'
