✧ Al-Harith b. Abi Rabi'ah and Abdullah b. Safwan entered, and I was with them, upon Umm Salamah, and they asked her about the army that would be swallowed up by the earth. That was in the days of Ibn al-Zubayr. Umm Salamah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'A seeker of refuge will seek refuge in the Sanctuary, and an army will be sent against him. When they are in a desert plain of the earth, they will be swallowed up.'" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the one who goes out unwillingly?" He said, "He will be swallowed up with them, but he will be resurrected according to his intention on the Day of Resurrection." Then she said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A seeker of refuge will seek refuge in the House.'"
