✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Cupping on an empty stomach is better, and in it there is blessing and healing. It increases intellect and increases the memory of the memorizer. Be cupped, with the blessing of Allah Almighty, on Thursday, and avoid Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Be cupped on Monday and Tuesday, for it is the day on which Allah healed Ayyub from affliction. No leprosy or leukoderma appears except on Wednesday and Wednesday night, and Ayyub was only afflicted on Wednesday.” The narrators of this hadith are all trustworthy except this ʿUthman b. Jaʿfar, for I do not know him to be either reliable or weak.
