فَحَدَّثْنَاهُ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ثَنَا شَبِيبُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ ثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يُنْزِلْ دَاءً أَوْ لَمْ يَخْلُقْ دَاءً إِلَّا أَنْزَلَ أَوْ خَلَقَ لَهُ دَوَاءً عَلِمَهُ مَنْ عَلِمَهُ وَجَهِلَهُ مَنْ جَهِلَهُ إِلَّا السَّامَ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا السَّامُ؟ قَالَ «الْمَوْتُ»

He has made it known to those who know it and unknown to those who do not know it, except for death." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is death?" He said, "It is 'as-sam'"
