فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«إِنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ فَإِنْ عَادَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ فَإِنْ عَادَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ فَإِنْ عَادَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ فَاقْتُلُوهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If someone drinks alcohol, flog him. If he repeats it, flog him again. If he does it a third time, flog him. If he repeats it for the fourth time, kill him." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about this in his summary.
