حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

«لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ ذَبَحَ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ، لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ غَيَّرَ تُخُومَ الْأَرْضِ، لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ كَمَّهَ الْأَعْمَى عَنِ السَّبِيلِ، لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ سَبَّ وَالِدَيْهِ، لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ، لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلَ قَوْمِ لُوطٍ»

Translation

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah curses whoever sacrifices for other than Allah; Allah curses whoever changes the boundaries of the land; Allah curses whoever misleads a blind person from the way; Allah curses whoever reviles his parents; Allah curses whoever affiliates himself with other than his rightful patrons; Allah curses whoever does the deed of the people of Lut."

Notes

  • ✧ This hadith has an authentic chain of transmission, though al-Bukhari and Muslim did not record it. Authentic. He said: And Abdullah ibn Maslamah narrated to us: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us: Amr ibn Abi Amr narrated to us, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, from the Prophet ﷺ, and he added in it: "Allah curses whoever has intercourse with an animal."
