حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الْخُلْدِيُّ ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ السَّهْمِيُّ ثنا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ

كَانَ «يَسْتَغْفِرُ لِلصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ ثَلَاثًا وَلِلثَّانِي مَرَّةً»

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ عَلَى الْوُجُوهِ كُلِّهَا إِلَّا أَنَّ الشَّيْخَيْنِ لَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ لِعِلَّةِ الرِّوَايَةِ عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ وَهُوَ مِمَّا قَدَّمْتُ فِيهِ الْقَوْلَ» على شرطهما

    machine translation"This is a hadith with a sound chain (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād) in all its routes, except that the two Shaykhs did not include it because of a defect in the narration from al-ʿIrbāḍ, which is a matter on which I have already given my view." [It is] on their condition.
