أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَلِيمٍ ثَنَا أَبُو الْمُوَجِّهِ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ

فِي الرَّجُلِ يَحْلِفُ بِالْمَشْيِ فَيَعْجِزُ فَيَرْكَبُ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «يَحُجُّ مِنْ قَابِلٍ فَيَرْكَبُ مَا مَشْي وَيَمْشِي مَا رَكِبَ»

✧ Regarding a man who swears to walk and then becomes unable and rides, Ibn Abbas said: “He should perform Hajj the following year, riding the distance he walked and walking the distance he rode.”
