✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to make frequent mention of Khadijah. I said, "Allah has replaced her for you," or perhaps Hammad said, "Allah has given you in exchange for an old woman among the old women of Quraysh, with reddened cheeks, who perished in a previous age." His face changed in a way I only saw at the descent of revelation or when he saw a cloud of thunder and lightning, until he knew whether it was mercy or punishment.
