فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَقَبِيصَةُ قَالَا ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ثَنَا حَكِيمُ بْنُ الدَّيْلَمِ ثَنَا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى قَالَ

كَانَ الْيَهُودُ يَتَعَاطَسُونَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَرْجُونَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُمْ يَرْحَمُكُمُ اللَّهُ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ لَهُمْ «يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ»

✧ The Jews used to sneeze in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ hoping that he would say to them, "May Allah have mercy on you," and he used to say to them, "May Allah guide you and set your affairs right."
