✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated to him that the Trustworthy Spirit narrated to him: "Allah the Exalted has decreed that the deeds of the servant will be brought on the Day of Resurrection—his good deeds and his evil deeds—and some will be set off against others. If one good deed remains for him, Allah will expand for him in Paradise as He wills." Al-Hakam b. Aban said: I went to Abu Salamah Yazdad and said to him: "What if the good deed is gone and nothing remains?" He said: {Those are the ones from whom We accept the best of what they did} [Al-Ahqaf 16] up to His saying {which they were promised} [Al-Ahqaf 16].
