machine translation"This is an authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) hadith meeting the criteria of the two Shaykhs, though they did not record it." Muḥammad b. ʿAjlān has corroborated it from al-Maqburī, and it is authentic according to the criterion of Muslim, according to their criterion.

machine translationMuḥammad b. ʿAjlān and Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah narrate it, and there is disagreement about both of them. As for Ibn ʿAjlān, al-Darāwardī and Sharīk b. ʿAbdullāh narrated it from Ibn ʿAjlān, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān differed from them and narrated it from Muḥammad b. ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah. It was likewise narrated from Ayyūb al-Sakhtiyānī, from Ibn ʿAjlān, from al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah; Naṣr b. Ṭarīf said this from Ayyūb. It was also narrated from Sharīk, from Ibn ʿAjlān, who said: "I only know it from Abū Ḥāzim, from Abū Hurayrah," but that is not preserved (maḥfūẓ). Qarān b. Tammām narrated it from Ibn ʿAjlān with another chain, one of them from Yazīd b. Qusayṭ, from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab, as a mursal report from the Prophet ﷺ, and the other from Ibn ʿAjlān, from Nuʿmān, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: he forbade interlacing the fingers in prayer. It was also said: from Ibn ʿAjlān, from al-Maqburī, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ. The statement of Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān from Ibn ʿAjlān is the closest of these to correct. As for Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah, ʿAbd al-Wārith b. Saʿīd, Yaḥyā b. Sulaym, Muḥammad b. Muslim al-Ṭāʾifī and al-Ḥārith b. ʿUbaydah narrated it from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah. There is disagreement about Ismāʿīl b. ʿAyyāsh: al-Ḥasan b. ʿArafah narrated it from Ismāʿīl b. ʿAyyāsh, from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from an elder of the people of Medina, from Abū Hurayrah. Rawḥ b. al-Qāsim likewise narrated it from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah, from al-Maqburī, from an elder, from Abū Hurayrah, and this is the correct version from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah.
