✧ Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest. His jaʾizah (special gift) is a day and a night, and hospitality is three days. Whatever is beyond that is charity. It is not permissible for him to stay with him until he turns him out. Ibn Wahb added in his narration: And his jaʾizah is to entertain him on the day with the best of what he finds. He also said: 'yathwī' means he stays with him.
