✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Who is your master, O Banu 'Ubayd?" They said, "Al-Jadd ibn Qays, because he is stingy." He responded, "What disease is worse than stinginess? Rather, your master and the son of your master is Bashir ibn Al-Baraa ibn Ma'rur." This hadith is authentic according to the criteria of Muslim and it has not been rejected. Sa'id ibn Muhammad, known as Al-Warraq, is trustworthy and reliable. We have recorded it from the hadith of 'Amr ibn Dinar, narrated from Abu Salamah.
