✧ I was among the people of the ṣuffa, and the Prophet ﷺ sent us ʿajwa dates, pouring them out to us. We would eat two at a time out of hunger. Whenever one of us ate two, he would say to his companions, ‘I have eaten two, so you eat two.’”
