✧ It was said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'Would you like a fortress and the protection of the fortress of Daws?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to a storehouse of the Ansar. Tufayl migrated, and a man from his people migrated with him. The man fell ill and became distressed—or a word similar to that. He went to a horn, took a broad-bladed arrowhead, and cut his finger joints, then died. Tufayl saw him in a dream and asked, 'What did Allah do with you?' He said, 'He forgave me because of my migration to the Prophet ﷺ.' Tufayl asked, 'What is the matter with your hands?' He said, 'It was said to me: We will not set right what you corrupted of yourself.' Tufayl related this to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet said: 'O Allah, and for his hands, forgive,' and he raised his hands.
