حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَرَبِيعَةَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ سَهْلَةَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ أَنْ تُرْضِعَ سَالِمًا مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ حَتَّى تَذْهَبَ غَيْرَةُ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ فَأَرْضَعَتْهُ وَهُوَ رَجُلٌ» قَالَ رَبِيعَةُ وَكَانَ رُخْصَةً لِسَالِمٍصحيح

✧ "The Prophet ﷺ commanded Sahla, the wife of Abu Hudhayfa, to suckle Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfa, so that Abu Hudhayfa's jealousy would go away. So she suckled him while he was a man." Rabi'a said: "It was a concession for Salim." Sahih.
