✧ I entered upon Marwan b. al-Hakam and said to him, 'A woman from your family was divorced, and I passed by her while she was moving, so I found fault with her for that.' They said, 'Fatimah bt. Qays ordered us, and she informed us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered her to move, when her husband divorced her, to the house of Ibn Umm Maktum.' Marwan said, 'Yes, she ordered them to do that.' Urwah said, 'I said, By Allah, Aisha found fault with that most severely, and she said, Fatimah was with her husband in a desolate place, so there was fear for her safety, and for that reason the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave her a dispensation.'
