أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أنبأ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي يَزِيدَ الضَّبِّيِّ

عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ مَوْلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ وَلَدِ الزِّنَا قَالَ «نَعْلَانِ أُجَاهِدُ بِهِمَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ وَلَدَ الزِّنَا» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ From Maymuna bt. Sa‘d, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, she said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the child of adultery. He said, “Two sandals with which I wage jihad are dearer to me than freeing the child of adultery.”
