حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَجَلِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ الضَّبِّيُّ وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السَّدُوسِيُّ قَالُوا ثَنَا عَفَّانُ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يُتَّهَمُ بِأُمِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَلَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِعَلِيٍّ «اذْهَبْ فَاضْرِبْ عُنُقَهُ» فَأَتَاهُ عَلِيٌّ فَإِذَا هُوَ فِي رَكِيٍّ يَتَبَرَّدُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ عَلِيٌّ اخْرُجْ فَنَاوَلَهُ يَدَهُ فَأَخْرَجَهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ مَجْبُوبٌ لَيْسَ لَهُ ذَكَرٌ

✧ A man was accused in connection with Umm Ibrahim (Maria), the son of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to ‘Ali, “Go and strike his neck.” ‘Ali came to him and found him in a well cooling himself. ‘Ali said to him, “Come out,” and he extended his hand, so he pulled him out, and he was mutilated, having no male organ.
