أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ ثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْعَبْدِيُّ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ دِعَامَةَ قَالَ
تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ فَرْوَةَ وَهِيَ أُخْتُ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ امْرَأَةِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ حِينَ اعْتَمَرَ بِمَكَّةَ وَوَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَفِيهَا نَزَلَ {وَامْرَأَةً مُؤْمِنَةً إِنْ وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ إِنْ أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ أَنْ يَسْتَنْكِحَهَا خَالِصَةً لَكَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ} [الأحزاب 50] ثُمَّ صَدَرَتْ مَعَهُ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَكَانَتْ قَبْلَهُ عِنْدَ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ أَسَدٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمِ بْنِ دُودَانَ حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Maymuna bt. al-Harith b. Farwa, who was the sister of Umm al-Fadl, the wife of al-Abbas b. Abd al-Muttalib, when he performed the Umrah in Makkah. She gave herself to the Prophet ﷺ, and about her was revealed: {And a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet, if the Prophet desires to marry her, exclusively for you, not for the believers} [al-Ahzab 50]. Then she returned with him to Madinah. Before him, she had been married to Farwa b. Abd al-Uzza b. Asad of the Banu Tamim b. Dudan. (Al-Dhahabi omitted this from the Talkhis.)
