✧ "Maymunah bt. al-Harith b. Hamatah b. Harith, and she is the maternal aunt of 'Abd Allah b. 'Abbas and the sister of Umm al-Fadl bt. al-Harith. She had married in the Jahiliyyah Mas'ud b. 'Amr b. 'Umayr al-Thaqafi, then he separated from her. Then Abu Ruhm b. 'Abd al-'Uzza b. Abi Qays from Banu Malik b. Hisl b. 'Amir b. Lu'ayy married her, and he died leaving her. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her; al-'Abbas b. 'Abd al-Muttalib gave her in marriage to him, and he was her guardian. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ consummated the marriage with her at Sarif, ten miles from Makkah. She was the last woman the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married, and that was in the year seven during the Umrah of the Qadiyyah." Ibn 'Umar said, "Maymunah died in the year sixty-one, and she was the last of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ to die. On the day she died she was eighty or eighty-one years old, and despite her advanced age she was vigorous." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
