أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ السَّيَّارِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا أَبُو الْمُوَجِّهِ ثنا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ عَنْ مُجَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ
لِي عَائِشَةُ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ وَاقِفًا فِي حُجْرَتِي هَذِهِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُنَاجِيهِ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ «بِمَنْ شَبَّهْتِيهِ؟» قُلْتُ بِدِحْيَةَ الْكَلْبِيِّ قَالَ «لَقَدْ رَأَيْتِ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا ذَاكَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ» فَمَا لَبِثْتُ إِلَّا يَسِيرًا حَتَّى قَالَ «يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ» قَالَتْ قُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ جَزَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ دَخِيلٍ خَيْرًاسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ 'A'isha said: I saw Jibril ﷺ standing in this room of mine while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was conversing privately with him. When he entered, I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, who is this?' He said, 'To whom did you liken him?' I said, 'To Dihya al-Kalbi.' He said, 'You have seen much good. That is Jibril ﷺ.' It was not long before he said, 'O 'A'isha, this is Jibril conveying peace to you.' She said: I said, 'And upon him be peace. May Allah reward him well as a visitor.' Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
