حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ
«عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ أُمُّهُ أُمُّ مَكْتُومٍ وَاسْمُهَا عَاتِكَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَنْكَثَةَ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ مَخْزُومٍ وَهُوَ عَمْرُو بْنُ قَيْسِ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ بْنِ هَرِمِ بْنِ رَوَاحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَعِيصِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ لُؤَيٍّ الْقَوْلُ مَا قَالَهُ مُصْعَبٌ فَقَدْ أَتَيْتُ لَهُ بِالِاسْمَيْنِ جَمِيعًا»

✧ “ʿAbd Allāh b. Umm Maktūm — his mother was Umm Maktūm, and her name was ʿĀtikah bt. ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAnkathah b. ʿĀmir b. Makhzūm — and he was ʿAmr b. Qays b. Zāʾidah b. al-Aṣamm b. Harim b. Rawāḥah b. ʿAbd Maʿīṣ b. ʿĀmir b. Luʾayy. The correct view is what Muṣʿab said, and I have produced for him both names together.”
