أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ قَالَ

«شَدَّادُ بْنُ الْهَادِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ نُمَيْرِ بْنِ عُتْوَارَةَ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ لَيْثِ بْنِ بَكْرَةَ وَاسْمُ الْهَادِ أُسَامَةُ وَهُوَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنُ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ تَحَوَّلَ إِلَى الْكُوفَةَ»

✧ Shaddad b. al-Had b. Amr b. Abd Allah b. Jabir b. Numayr b. Utwarah b. Amir b. Layth b. Bakrah. The name of al-Had was Usamah. He is Abu Abd Allah b. Shaddad b. al-Had. He moved to Kufa.
