فَحَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِعَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَا أَبَا يَزِيدَ «إِنِّي أُحِبُّكَ حُبَّيْنِ حُبًّا لِقَرَابَتِكَ مِنِّي وَحُبًّا لَمَّا كُنْتُ أَعْلَمُ مِنْ حُبِّ عَمِّي إِيَّاكَ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to 'Aqeel b. Abi Talib: 'O Abu Yazid, I love you with two loves: a love for your kinship to me, and a love for what I knew of my uncle's love for you.' Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
