أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ ثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ قَالَ
«مَاتَ سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ يُكَنَّى أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى وَتِسْعِينَ وَهُوَ آخِرُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ»

✧ Sahl b. Sa'd al-Sa'idi, whose kunya was Abu al-Abbas, died in Madinah in the year ninety-one. He was the last of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ to die in Madinah, and he was one hundred years old.
