أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفَقِيهُ ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقَاتِلِيُّ حَدَّثَتْنِي أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَتْ

كَانَ أَبِي إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ جَلَسَ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَرُبَّمَا كَلَّمْتُهُ فِي الْحَاجَةِ فَلَا يُكَلِّمُنِي فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُكَلِّمَ أَحَدًا غُفِرَ لَهُ ذَنْبُ سَنَةٍ»

✧ When my father prayed the morning prayer, he would sit facing the qiblah until the sun rose; often I would speak to him about a need and he would not speak to me. I said, "What is this?" He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Whoever prays the morning prayer, then recites Qul huwa Allahu ahad one hundred times before speaking to anyone, his sins of a year are forgiven."
