✧ Muharib b. Dithar said to me: "Have you heard Sa'id b. Jubayr mention anything from Ibn 'Abbas about al-Kawthar?" I said: "Yes, he is the abundant good." He said: "Glory be to Allah. Say what falls short of Ibn 'Abbas." I said: "He said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas say: I heard Ibn 'Umar say: When 'Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar' was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It is a river in Paradise, its banks of gold, flowing over pearls and rubies. Its drink is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey.'" He said: "By Allah, Ibn 'Abbas has spoken the truth. This, by Allah, is the abundant good."
