وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ
«كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُسَمَّى الْبَحْرَ لِكَثْرَةِ عِلْمِهِ»
