✧ Abdullah b. Umar entered upon Abdullah b. Amr, who had dyed his beard black. Abdullah b. Umar said, "Peace be upon you, O little gray-haired one." Ibn Amr said to him, "Do you not recognize me, O Abu Abd al-Rahman?" He said, "Yes, I recognize you as an old man, but today you are a youth. Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Yellow is the dye of the believer, red is the dye of the Muslim, and black is the dye of the disbeliever.'"
