وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا عَدِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَطَرٍ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ قَالَتْ
قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ اسْتَحَاضَتْ مِنْ مُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَلَمْ تُصَلِّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ هَذَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ لِتَجْلِسْ فِي مِرْكَنٍ فَإِذَا رَأَتْ صُفْرَةً فَوْقَ الْمَاءِ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ لِلظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا وَتَغْتَسِلُ لِلْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا وَتَغْتَسِلُ لِلْفَجْرِ وَتَتَوَضَّأُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ»

✧ I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "Fatimah bt. Abi Hubaysh has had prolonged non-menstrual bleeding for such and such a time and has not prayed." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Glory be to Allah! This is from Satan. Let her sit in a large tub, and when she sees yellowness above the water, let her bathe once for Zuhr and 'Asr, bathe once for Maghrib and 'Isha', bathe for Fajr, and perform ablution in between those times."
