أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْفَقِيهُ بِبُخَارَى ثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْحَافِظُ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ قَالَ
«شَدَّادُ بْنُ أَوْسِ بْنِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ حَرَامٍ يُكَنَّى أَبَا يَعْلَى وَكَانَ نَزَلَ بِفِلَسْطِينَ وَمَاتَ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَخَمْسِينَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسَبْعِينَ»
