✧ The virtues of Abu Ishaq Saad b. Abi Waqqas

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ الْعَقِصِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مَعْنٍ ثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ»
