حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ
وَلَدُ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَتَلَهُ الْمُخْتَارُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَتَلَهُ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ وَكَانَ مِمَّنْ أُسِرَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ وَأُمُّهُمَا مَارِيَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ مِنْ كِنْدَةَ وَعَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَأُمُّهُ بَهْرَاءُ وَصَالِحُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَكَانَ نَزَلَ بِالْحِيرَةِ لِشَيْءٍ وَقَعَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أَخِيهِ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ وَأُمُّهُ خَوْلَةُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَعَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ سَعْدٍ

✧ The sons of Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas: 'Umar ibn Sa'd, whom al-Mukhtar ibn Abi 'Ubayd killed; Muhammad ibn Sa'd, whom al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf killed—he was among those taken captive from the companions of 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn al-Ash'ath; their mother was Mariyah bint Qays ibn Ma'di Karib of Kindah. 'Amir ibn Sa'd, whose mother was Bahra'. Salih ibn Sa'd, who settled in al-Hirah because of something that occurred between him and his brother 'Umar ibn Sa'd, and his mother was Khawlah bint 'Umayr ibn Taghlib ibn Wa'il. Ibrahim ibn Sa'd, Ishaq ibn Sa'd, Yahya ibn Sa'd, and 'A'ishah bint Sa'd.
