حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَطَّةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ
«وَعِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ خَلَفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ نَهِمِ بْنِ حُزْمَةَ بْنِ جَهْمَةَ بْنِ غَاضِرَةَ وَيُكَنَّى أَبَا نُجَيْدٍ أَسْلَمَ قَدِيمًا هُوَ وَأَبُوهُ وَأُخْتُهُ وَغَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ غَزَوَاتٍ وَلَمْ يَزَلْ فِي بِلَادِ قَوْمِهِ ثُمَّ تَحَوَّلَ إِلَى الْبَصْرَةِ فَنَزَلَ بِهَا إِلَى أَنْ مَاتَ بِهَا وَوَلَدُهُ بِهَا وَتُوُفِّيَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَبْلَ زِيَادٍ بِسَنَةٍ وَتُوُفِّيَ زِيَادٌ سَنَةَ خَمْسٍ وَخَمْسِينَ»

✧ 'Imran b. Husayn b. 'Ubayd b. Khalaf b. 'Abd Nahm b. Huzma b. Jahma b. Ghadira, whose kunya was Abu Nujayd, accepted Islam early, he and his father and his sister, and he went on military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ several times. He remained in the lands of his people, then he moved to al-Basra and settled there until he died there, and his children were there. 'Imran b. al-Husayn died in al-Basra one year before Ziyad, and Ziyad died in the year 55.
