حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ
«وَجَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ نَصْرِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ جُشَمِ بْنِ عَوْفِ بْنِ شُلَيْلِ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ سَكَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَبْقَرِ بْنِ أَنْمَارٍ كَانَ قَدْ أَقَامَ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ بِقِرْقِيسَاءَ ثُمَّ انْتَقَلَ مِنْهَا إِلَى الْكُوفَةِ وَبِهَا تُوُفِّيَ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى وَخَمْسِينَ»

✧ "And Jarir b. Abdullah b. Malik b. Nasr b. Tha'labah b. Jusham b. Awf b. Shulayl b. Khuzaymah b. Sakan b. Ali b. Malik b. Zayd b. Qays b. Abqar b. Anmar. He had stayed during the fitnah at Qarqisiya, then moved from there to Kufa, and died there in the year fifty-one."
