أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ لَأَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا نَفْسِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «الْآنَ يَا عُمَرُ» حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص لضعفه

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was holding the hand of Umar b. al-Khattab. Umar said, 'By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, you are more beloved to me than everything except myself.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Now, O Umar.' Al-Dhahabi omitted it from the Talkhis due to its weakness.
