حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي مَسَرَّةَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَنَّ أُمَّهُ أَتَتْ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَدَعَا لَهُ» فَكَانَ يُضَحِّي بِالشَّاةِ الْوَاحِدَةِ عَنْ جَمِيعِ أَهْلِهِ

✧ From Abdullah b. Hisham—who met the Prophet ﷺ—that his mother brought him to the Prophet ﷺ, and he wiped his head and supplicated for him. He used to slaughter a single sheep as sacrifice on behalf of all his household.
