✧ The virtues of Sa'id bin Zaid bin Amr bin Nu'ayl, the tenth of the ten.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَسَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ قَالَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَسْتَغْفِرُ لِزَيْدٍ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَاسْتَغْفِرَا لَهُ وَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً»

✧ 'Umar b. al-Khattab and Sa'id b. Zayd said: O Messenger of Allah, will you seek forgiveness for Zayd? He said: Yes. So they both sought forgiveness for him, and he said: Indeed, he will be resurrected as a nation by himself.
