✧ Some Arabs came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to greet him, wearing woolen garments. I stood up and said: 'I will certainly come between these people and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' Then I said to myself: 'He is the confidant of the people.' Then my soul refused anything but that I stand before him. He said: 'I heard him say: "They will raid the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will grant it conquest. Then they will raid Persia and Allah will grant it conquest. Then they will raid the Dajjal and Allah will grant him conquest."' Musa b. 'Abd al-Malik is weak.

machine translationʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Jaʿfar al-Rāzī narrated it from ʿAbd al-Malik, from Jābir b. Samurah, from the Prophet ﷺ. Others narrate it from ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr, from Jābir b. Samurah, from his maternal uncle Nāfiʿ b. ʿUtbah b. Abī Waqqāṣ, and this is the correct (ṣawāb) version.
