✧ And Gabriel ﷺ descended upon Muhammad ﷺ and said: 'Which of the two matters is more beloved to you: that you remain in this world with your companions, or that you return to your Lord to what He promised you of gardens of bliss, with houris, everlasting bliss, whatever your soul desires, and whatever delights your eyes?' He consulted his companions, and they said: 'O Messenger of Allah, that you remain with us is more beloved to us, so that you may inform us of the weaknesses of our enemy, supplicate to Allah to grant us victory over them, and tell us news from the heavens.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'What is the matter with you that you do not speak, O Hubab?' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, choose what your Lord has chosen for you.' He accepted that from me.
